“I love you” in the morning

Supposedly, the weather has been great in the rest of the country but here it has been pretty nasty. Not really horrible for driving, but just glum, gray, and rainy/snowy.  AND it’s the week after spring break…that’s a deadly combination for any student.  You just don’t want to do anything or focus.

But this morning I called my Mom to complain about the fact that it snowed (AGAIN) and she was with my nephew Sam.  He wanted to talk to me on the phone…nothing like a little kid to make you feel wanted :)  And then he said “Hi Mawly, Grandma gave us coooookies, I wuv you.”

That’s all it took to turn my day around. Happy hump day everyone!!!
